General questions about the TravelMate
1. Who manufactures the TravelMate? We invented/designed/patented the TravelMate and manufacture it ourselves in the USA.
2. How can I know from an unbiased source that you provide good products and service? Some of our our customers have published detailed reviews on the TravelMate and published them elsewhere on the internet. Here are a couple of reviews that we are aware of: Review #1 and Review #2. 3. Is the TravelMate available in American stores? Not at this time.
4. Is the TravelMate reuseable? Yes. It is environmentally and pocketbook friendly— meaning it can be washed and reused many times. Cost per use is just a few pennies.
5. Does the TravelMate meet FDA requirements? Yes. It meets all current U.S. government regulations for Class I (non-indwelling) urine collection devices.
6. What do I do with a used TravelMate if clean water to wash it isn’t available? Buy several and put the dirty ones in a plastic zip-lock bag. Wash them all at once when you find clean water.
7. Can females write their name in the snow with the TravelMate? Yes.

1. How many years have you been in business? We were founded in 1995 as a family-owned business. In 2000 we entered the medical device market with TravelMate female urinary products. There are two of us who run the day-to-day office operations, answering e-mail, fulfilling orders, etc. You can find out more about our company by clicking here.
2. What safeguards do you have to protect my credit card information? We've contracted with CyberSource to handle our on-line credit card processing. They use secure servers.
3. What is your SPAM policy? You won’t be getting any from us. We don’t like unsolicted e-mail and think the majority of our customers feel the same way.
4. Foreign Orders? Yes, we ship to most countries. View the currency calculator to find out the approximate cost of your order in your country’s currency.
5. Delivery time? Most orders are shipped the same day received. (Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday ship out on Monday) You should receive your order within a week if you live in the USA and two weeks if you live elsewhere.
6. Packaging? Orders are shipped in padded manila envelopes or brown boxes for international orders. Orders placed within the USA are shipped in a small box labeled “Priority Mail“.
7. Customer Service? You can speak with a REAL, LIVE PERSON at 208-691-1020 who will answer TravelMate-related questions from 1:30 pm to 7:00 pm Pacific Standard Time. You may also e-mail us. We usually answer e-mail within two hours between 1 pm and 8 pm Pacific Standard Time..
8. 100% Guarantee: If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your TravelMate purchase from Shalin, Inc., just return it for a 100% refund of the products within 60 days of purchase (shipping is not eligible for a refund).
9. Privacy Policy: All information collected on the order forms are confidential. We don’t like SPAM, and assume you don’t either, so our policy is to not sell, rent, or give away any of the information you provide us. You won’t hear from us again unless you write first, we have to recall items that we sent you, or there is some kind of billing problem.
